QUINCY, Mass. — (BUSINESS WIRE)–Propel Marketing, a leading national provider of digital marketing products and solutions for local businesses, was joined on Thursday by New Hampshire Governor Maggie Hassan and Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas as the company officially opened its new Manchester telesales center.
“As Propel continues to grow, we’re excited about the role this facility is going to play in the coming years,” said Propel Marketing Chief Executive Officer Pete Cannone. “This center provides us with direct access to talent from the region’s top colleges and universities, as well as the expanding tech community.”
During her speech, Governor Hassan said, “I am excited to take a moment and recognize the excitement that we all feel about having a new business here in Manchester, a business that will continue to create good paying and high quality jobs.”
Propel Marketing employs more than 200 with a main headquarters located in Quincy, Mass., plus a tech development facility in Boston. The Manchester office will employ 20 digital marketing professionals by the end of the year, with additional hires expected the following year.
“We’re thrilled about this location, what it means for Propel, and our burgeoning relationship with Greater Manchester” said Chris Thompson, the company’s Vice President of Outbound Telesales. “We’re going to be able to recruit young talent from local institutions and take part as the local high-tech scene flourishes.”
The Manchester facility is located on the ground floor of an old riverside textile mill off Commercial Street. In addition to Gov. Hassan and Mayor Gatsas, the ribbon cutting and open house was attended by representatives from the offices of U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Kelly Ayotte, officials with the New Hampshire Department of Resources and Economic Development, members of the Manchester City Council, local business leaders, and officials from nearby colleges and universities.
Founded in 2012, Propel offers a full suite of digital marketing products and services, including responsive-platform websites, social media, SEM, Facebook Ads, digital display ads, Email, and video. Last month it announced the acquisition of ThriveHive, a Cambridge-based, award-winning marketing software firm focused on small businesses.
