• Perch Update

As you may know, Facebook and Instagram are taking active measures to ensure the privacy and security of their users’ data. We are in full support of these platform changes, although this has caused changes to the way apps, like Perch, access public data.

The changes are currently impacting Perch in the following ways:

  • Instagram posts made by your business and those on your watchlist are temporarily unavailable in your feed and in your digest email. This does not currently impact posts made by customers and tagged at a business location.
  • Instagram performance metrics for your business and those on your watchlist may be incomplete or out of date.

Instagram is expecting to resolve this so we can once again display the data, and we are awaiting the resolution date.

We are committed to the privacy and protection of your data, and continue to remain firm in not sharing your information with any third-parties. Perch is actively working with Facebook and Instagram to ensure we remain in compliance with their platform policies.
