Braintree, MA – Memorial Day Observance, Sunday, May 26th
Col. Michael LeSavage, the commanding officer of the 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, out of Fort Devens, MA, will give the keynote address at the town’s annual Memorial Day. The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. in the Garden of Honor at Blue Hill Cemetery.
Rochester, NY – Memorial Day Parade, Monday, May 27th
The city’s annual Memorial Day parade will start at 10:30 a.m. The parade begins at East Avenue and Alexander Street, then moves west down Main Street to Plymouth Avenue.
Peoria, IL. – Memorial Day Ceremonies, Monday, May 27th
The City of Peoria’s annual Memorial Day program will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the Gateway Building. This year’s program, including a bagpipe group and other musical talents, will honor Gold Star Mothers and other family members of servicemen and women killed in action.
Dover, DE – Memorial Day Observance, Monday, May 27th
Members of the American Legion Walter L. Fox Post No. 2 and the Delaware Veterans Post No. 2, Dover, will again jointly host their annual Memorial Day Observance at the Triangle flagpole in downtown Dover starting at 11 a.m.
Sacramento County, CA – Memorial Day Ceremonies, Saturday – Monday
Events are scheduled across the county throughout the long weekend to commemorate our brave servicemen and women. Events feature guest speakers, fly-overs, wreath laying, music, and the release of white doves. Also held this weekend is a run to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and Fallen Warriors Memorial Organization
