Specialist, Display Ops

Responsible for revenue generation by supporting Ad Sales teams with the fulfillment of website display, mobile, pre-roll, and retargeting advertising campaigns. This includes, but is not limited to: campaign planning, ad trafficking, QA, and managing communication throughout the process. Ads run across properties in the programmatic ecosystem and/or GateHouse owned digital properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide inventory assistance/audience planning during the pre-sale process
  • Traffic and/or QA online advertising campaigns for website display, mobile, pre-roll, and retargeting
  • Responding to questions about campaign performance; run ad-hoc reports
  • Make independent decisions about campaign set ups and make modifications, when needed, to ensure campaigns success
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of ad operations documentation
  • Troubleshoot campaign errors, and resolve campaign delivery and/or performance issues
  • Maintain turnaround times for SLAs
  • Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience; marketing, advertising, communications, or computer science emphasis preferred
  • Strong customer service mindset and meticulous attention to detail required
  • Working knowledge of MS Office required; intermediate Excel skills a plus
  • Working knowledge of online ad serving technologies (Google DFP), Google Analytics, web browsers, FTP, basic HTML, graphic formats, is a plus
  • Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task; independently organize and establish priorities to execute assigned tasks within committed time frames
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment
  • Any industry ad ops certifications a plus; willingness to work toward ad operations certifications required
  • 2-4 years of ad operations or equivalent required
