Sales Manager

The Sales Manager works directly with the Director of Inside Sales and the SVP of Sales. In this role you are chartered with sales growth and profitability along with the management and development of our insides sales team.  You will direct, oversee and expand our sales team while providing mentoring and leadership to ensure maximum sales and growth. You will have an entrepreneurial spirit as well as a strong product and customer experience background.  You are a self-motivated, results driven Sales Manager who will drive excellence and focus within the sales organization.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day to day needs of the inside sales team including daily support and coaching, manage performance issues, assist in new hire selection, assimilation and training
  • Acquire and develop a strong product competency, industry knowledge related to market needs and trends so that you can be a resource to the sales team
  • Plan and organize pipeline reviews, sales blitzes and assist with customer demos
  • Drive revenue through creative sales techniques
  • Collaborate with marketing, product and customer support teams
  • Monitor progress, make recommendations and assist team with customer interactions when needed
  • Build confidence and trust with direct reports while providing development feedback for continuous improvement
  • Work with Marketing and Operations to develop targeted sales campaigns

 

Skills and Experience

  • Strong sales and process management
  • Reporting and Analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years in a sales management or relative sales role
  • Experience with a consultative sales process
  • Strong judgement and business acumen
  • Proven track record delivering revenue goals and meeting quota
  • Strong sales process management, CRM (Salesforce.com) management, reporting and analytical skills
  • Superior coaching skills
  • Personal responsibility to exceed team goals
