Account Manager

ThriveHive is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and capable Account Manager. The goal of the Account Manager is to assure a high rate of retention and an increase in business through continued communication, problem solving, status reporting, while building rapport with the customer guaranteeing a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.


  • Manage active assigned accounts with a spend level of over $20K for the term of the contract
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for clients as the subject matter expert for all ThriveHive products as well as maintains complete understanding of all internal processes and procedures
  • Must be able to manage multiple accounts and tasks at once
  • For new customers, the AM will be present on the welcome call to establish their relationship and properly set expectations.
    • Schedule an initial meeting with the customer and the appropriate product teams
    • Establish relevant performance standards
    • Monitor activity on a weekly basis to assure positive results through meeting customer expectations
  • Identify key opportunities and assist in driving up-sells
    • Promote the value of ThriveHive’s products and services
  • Daily monitoring of accounts designated with “Key Account” status and scheduling of internal weekly and bi-monthly check ins with accounts
  • Review flagged underperformance with the appropriate Product team to correct situation
    • Alert the sales representative of any potential performance concerns
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results to drive retention and growth
  • Manage ending campaigns to ensure retention
  • Reporting
    • Create a monthly summary that highlights the customer’s individual performance standard to be shared with the customer and sales representative
    • Quarterly reports may be provided to highlight full scope of results. This includes but is not limited to:
      • Analytics Reporting
      • Product specific reporting (SEM detail, live chat summaries, summary of results for custom direct email campaigns), FB ads results


Requirements / Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Years of inside sales/account management
  • Heavy project management skills
  • Working knowledge of excel, Word, Outlook
  • BS/BA degree
  • Digital Marketing experience
