This March, Facebook announced upcoming changes to Business Pages and they’re finally here!
With streamlined views and easier-to-access data, the new design of business profiles on Facebook is a win-win for consumers and business owners alike.
The idea came from the need to create a streamlined look that would appeal to the user and allow for consumers to better find the information they are looking for. While continuing to have the consumer in mind, Facebook’s changes also make the user experience easier for Page admins as well.
Targeting the most commonly used admin Business Page tools, Facebook designed the new layout to make these tools more easily accessible:
The change Facebook has made to Pages is a long awaited advancement. No matter the size of your business, your Facebook Page is a direct image of your company and yourself.

What if you prefer the old Facebook layout?
Already skilled in the old Facebook Page and worried about learning a new layout? Don’t worry, Facebook has you covered!
With the new design, when the admin logs into their Facebook Page, they will be prompted to take a guided tour of the changes. The tour will outline, in detail, the new layout design as well as functionality changes. Once the tour has been completed, you will be given a two week window to manually switch your Page over to the new layout.
If you choose not to switch over immediately, you can wait until you’re more comfortable — but Facebook will automatically change the Page for you at the 2 week mark.
With over 30 million small businesses actively using Facebook Pages, the rollout of the new page design has been a process. However, Facebook has reassured that all 30 million will be able to enjoy the new Page design.
