John brings nearly two decades of experience in technology to his current role as VP of Technical Strategy at Neustar. He was most recently a Senior Director at Symantec, where he built and led a team of more than 40 engineers and architects to invent and deliver core technologies and services in mobile and embedded. He joined Veritas Software in 2001 where he held several director level roles in business development and product management. He joined Symantec in 2005 where his roles included: IP strategy, business and technology strategy development across the product portfolio, acquisition planning, new investments, and disruptive technologies.
